30 Reasons Why

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 27 February 2026

1. About Us

30 Reasons Why (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a trading name operated from the United Kingdom. By placing an order through our website at 30reasonswhy.co.uk (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Products

We sell personalised gift mugs. Each mug is custom-printed with the recipient’s name, a unique QR code, and branding specific to your chosen range (Love, Best Mate, or Sweary).

Product images on the Site are for illustrative purposes only. The actual product may vary slightly in colour, size, or print placement due to the nature of custom printing. We make every effort to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee an exact match to on-screen previews.

3. Messages

Each mug includes 30 daily messages. After payment, you will be invited to write your 30 messages. You may write them entirely yourself, use our AI assistant to generate suggestions, or use a combination of both. AI-generated messages can be edited or replaced at any time before you submit your final 30.

Once messages are submitted, they cannot be changed. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be free from errors, and we are not liable for the tone, accuracy, or suitability of messages you choose to include. You are responsible for reviewing all 30 messages before final submission.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in British pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are displayed separately at checkout.

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

5. Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed. You will receive an order confirmation via email. If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by Royal Mail, courier services, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Custom Products & Cancellations

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, personalised or custom-made goods are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period. Because every mug is custom-printed to your specification, you do not have an automatic right to cancel once your order has been placed and confirmed.

If your order has not yet entered production, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate a cancellation.

8. Returns & Replacements

Please see our Returns & Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

  • Damaged or defective items will be replaced free of charge.
  • If you are unhappy with your mug for any other reason, you may return it to us at your own cost and we will send a replacement.
  • Refunds are only issued for items that arrive damaged or are materially different from what was ordered.

9. QR Code & Digital Experience

Each mug includes a unique QR code that links to a digital messaging experience operated by a third-party service (Pept). The recipient must scan the QR code and register to unlock messages. We are not responsible for the availability, uptime, or performance of the third-party digital platform. One message is unlocked per day over 30 days.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, design, graphics, and branding, is owned by or licensed to 30 Reasons Why. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
