Returns & Refund Policy

Custom-Made Products

Every 30 Reasons Why mug is custom-printed with a unique name, QR code, and personalised messages chosen by you. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, personalised or made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance sales.

This means you do not have an automatic right to return your mug simply because you have changed your mind.

Damaged or Defective Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your mug arrives damaged, broken, or materially defective, we will send a free replacement — no questions asked.

To report a damaged item:

  1. Email us at hello@30reasonswhy.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order
  2. Include your order number and a photo of the damage
  3. We will arrange a replacement to be sent to you free of charge

If a replacement is not possible (e.g. the product has been discontinued), we will issue a full refund including original shipping costs.

Not Happy with Your Mug?

If your mug is not damaged but you’re unhappy with it for another reason (e.g. the print quality isn’t what you expected), we want to make it right.

Return the mug to us at your own cost, and once we receive it, we will send a replacement. Please contact us before returning so we can provide a returns address and discuss the issue.

We are unable to offer refunds for non-defective custom items, but we will always work with you to find a solution.

Print Variations

Due to the nature of custom printing, minor variations in colour, positioning, and finish are normal and do not constitute a defect. The mug previews shown on our website are digital representations and the actual product may differ slightly. These variations are not grounds for a return or refund.

QR Code Issues

If the QR code on your mug does not scan or link to the correct messaging experience, please contact us. We will investigate and, where necessary, send a replacement mug with a working QR code at no cost to you.

Refunds

Where a refund is issued (for damaged/defective items only), it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
